Amru Khan oversees institutional sales for Wells Fargo Asset Management, which includes both institutional separate accounts and mutual funds. He oversees sales, marketing, and strategic initiatives for the domestic and international institutional markets. Mr. Khan was educated overseas and earned a bachelor's degree in business administration. He served as a member of the Institutional Investor Institute's Advisory Board and the American Bankers Association Employee Benefits Services Committee and is a former board member of the Institute of Certified Bankers.
Graham Allen manages the Firm’s international fixed income investments and is a member of the investment policy and strategy committee and portfolio management team. Graham has 32 years of institutional investment experience, including 16 years with Bradford and Marzec from 1988 -1998 and again from 2003 - 2009. Graham’s primary responsibilities currently include developing and directing the international portfolio strategy including currency hedging and trading for the opportunistic core-plus total return strategy. His analysis of international bond markets and economics contributes to the Firm’s overall global-macro, top-down strategy for all portfolios. He is also responsible for duration and yield curve strategy.
Graham was the Chief Fixed Income Officer at Wells Capital Management from 1998 - 2002. In this capacity for Wells Fargo’s institutional money management arm, he developed overall investment policies and strategies for $15 billion in fixed income investment portfolios. He managed twenty-five professionals involved in long-term fixed income investing across a variety of styles and asset classes including core; core plus; municipals; high yield; international; short duration, and corporate funds, totaling approximately $15 billion in value. Graham also oversaw fifteen publicly traded fixed income mutual funds, and directed the launch of two new funds.
Graham began his career as an equity investment analyst for CIN Investments, formerly the National Coal Board Pension Funds, one of the largest public pension funds in Europe. At CIN Investments, he was promoted to Portfolio Manager managing U.K. Capital Goods Equities, and ultimately became Deputy Director for Marketable Securities with responsibilities overseeing multi-billion dollar equity portfolios including capital goods, retailing and overseas markets. Graham moved to the U.S. to serve as Vice President of Investments for Heron Financial in Los Angeles, one of the largest private companies in the U.K. at the time. His duties at Heron Investments included overseeing strategic acquisitions as well as managing high yield portfolios for the company’s Arizona-based financial subsidiary.
Graham was educated in London, England at Harrow and Watford Colleges, and is a Fellow Chartered Management Accountant, a professional designation awarded by a major U.K. accounting body (CIMA).
